About Us

Meet Imelda

Life in Balance is led by Imelda Westworth, a psychologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience across government departments and private practice.

Specialising in trauma and EMDR

Trauma therapy and EMDR are at the core of Imelda’s clinical work. EMDR is one of the most thoroughly researched treatments for trauma and PTSD.

Our approach

Life in Balance draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, CBT, Schema Therapy, and DBT. Treatment is tailored to each individual. The aim is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, and where real, lasting change becomes possible.
