The standard fee for a 50-minute consultation with a registered psychologist (Imelda Westworth) is $220.

The standard fee for a 50-minute consultation with a provisional psychologist (Tajel Billimoria) is $140.

Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates are available to people with assessed psychological disorders for psychological treatment by registered psychologists under the Australian Government's Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.

The Medicare rebate of $93.35 applies for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a registered psychologist.

You must be referred by your GP or psychiatrist to access this rebate. Your GP must complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan before referring you to a psychologist. Your GP must also provide you with a short letter of referral to your psychologist before your first session. Both the letter of referral and your Mental Health Treatment Plan will be required by your psychologist at your first appointment.

Please note that sessions with a provisional psychologist are not eligible for a Medicare rebate. However, this is reflected in the reduced fees for provisional psychologist consultations.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

If you are plan-managed or self-managed you can access NDIS funding via our psychologists.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

You may be eligible to claim psychological services from your Private Health insurer depending on your level of coverage. Please contact your insurer to confirm your level of coverage if applicable.

Workcover and TAC

Sessions may be covered in the case of a Worker’s compensation or TAC claim. Please consult with your worker’s compensation insurer or employer for more information.
